Isaiah 61:1-4
"The Spirit of GOD, the Master, is on me because GOD anointed me. He sent me to preach good news to the poor, heal the heartbroken, Announce freedom to all captives, pardon all prisoners. GOD sent me to announce the year of his grace-- a celebration of God's destruction of our enemies-- and to comfort all who mourn, To care for the needs of all who mourn in Zion, give them bouquets of roses instead of ashes, Messages of joy instead of news of doom, a praising heart instead of a languid spirit. Rename them 'Oaks of Righteousness' planted by GOD to display his glory. They'll rebuild the old ruins, raise a new city out of the wreckage. They'll start over on the ruined cities, take the rubble left behind and make it new. "
To bring good news to the oppressed
To heal the broken hearted
To announce freedom to all captives and pardon to prisoners
To announce that this is the time of God’s grace
To comfort and care for the needs of all who mourn:

Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly. "

To create an environment, whenever we meet, where people are free to seek God on their terms
To imitate the radical life of obedience, faith, commitment and grace that attracted people to Christ when he was on earth

If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don't love, I've gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without love."

To hold nothing so high or so worthy an ideal as Jesus’ example of selfless love
To willingly sacrifice our personal comfort or well-being in pursuit of love
